This challenge is called ‘Random Video Watch’ and the aim is to bring some ’spontaneity’ & ‘randomness’ back in to your life!  And to also release expectations which can lead to disappointment.  Expect the unexpected!

Go to the video store and pick a dvd/video without looking.

You can decide on a genre beforehand if you like,  ask for a ‘life message’ you would like to receive, or just make it pure fun and choose from the comedy section!

The rules are: you can’t look at the dvd until you get out of the store and you’re not allowed to change it if  you don’t like it.  You have to watch it.  The aim of this is to remain open, and have no expectations. It’s alot of fun!  And the added bonus is there’s no more spending hours trying to pick one either.

My man and I do this nearly every time we get a dvd.  We’ve end up with some shockers!  but we always try to find something positive in it, accept it for what it is, and have no expectations or disappointment in our choice.  It’s the expectations we hold in our minds that lead to disappointment.

The beauty is, you’ll also find some gems that you didn’t even know existed.
